THANK YOU for your
interest in CHLOE's COTTAGE! It is a home-spun
business that seeks to make a difference, one Child at a time. We are
dedicated to providing valuable products, crafts, activities, ideas and gifts
that will lift the spirit and inspire the creativity of those who receive them.
It is OUR HOPE that CHLOE's COTTAGE will touch your Child's life, and in doing
so, touch YOURS. We know that your gift will bring many smiles and a
sense of accomplishment to your Child as she or he completes each activity in
the basket.
It is with these goals
in mind that each product has been specifically chosen to compliment each
basket. The items in each basket can help develop hand-eye coordination,
fine motor skills, artistic development, creativity, educational excitement and
provide for just plain FUN!

Children are our most precious gift and
the most important thing in any parent's life. When Chloe, our oldest
daughter, became seriously ill with a very rare disease (Opsoclonus-Myoclonus Syndrome), we entered a whole new world that parents dread.
It took months and months of testing before a diagnosis could be made. It
was during the long hours between tests and later during treatments, we would
look for ANY distraction we could think of. We were always looking for
some fun activity to do. Fortunately, Chloe is doing much better these
days, although not completely cured. She is in fourth grade, goes to
Brownies®, occupational and physical therapy, and is taking ballet. Chloe
continually motivates us to be more and do more than we thought was ever
possible. We dedicate this
"project" to her, and all of the Children who are hospitalized for
tests, treatments or surgeries. THEY ARE THE TRUE INSPIRATION
for CHLOE'S COTTAGE, and why we have chosen to look for a way to make lemonade
from our situation.
